MUST-SEE || BIG MAYBES || NO WAY
NO WAY
The Love Guru Release Date: June 20 Hell, Yeah: Mike Myers is back, making fun of midgets and hurling lame sexual innuendos at passing women. Hey…wait a minute… Oh, No: …What the hell is this? Having milked Austin Powers to death, the best Myers can do is slap a new wig on and do the same character all over again? With Verne Troyer no less? Verdict: No love for this half-assed comedy. Even if it does have a pre-pregnancy Jessica Alba.
The Chronicles of Narnia: Prince Caspian Release Date: May 16 Hell, Yeah: Well, this one looks a tad darker and more violent than its predecessor, The Lion, the Witch, and the Wardrobe. To be honest, we tuned out the first one after the wood nymph killed the Voldemort that was living in Nicole Kidman's polar bear or whatever. Oh, No: As you can probably guess, we're pretty much over the whole fantasy thing. The Lord of the Rings was great, but the rest of these are also-rans in tunics. And we can't recall ever actually liking any film with the word "chronicles" in the title. Verdict: We could miss this and not feel any great loss.
