Now that I'm back from CES, the question I've been getting more than any other is, "What kind of awesome, free stuff did you get?" The answer is nothing. I already had two bags with me so I ended up stuffing my promotional CES backpack into the trash can of my hotel room. And other than a crapload of pens and a couple flash drives, I came back lugging the same crap I had when I left. There was one stand-out though, and it was from Lenovo. They were promoting their new IdeaPad laptops, which are geared toward entertainment, rather than business like their ThinkPad siblings, so they handed out yellow, blinking lightbulb-shaped doohickeys. I got it the first day of the show and somehow it stayed in my pocket until I left (yes I wore the same pants the whole time I was there.).
