Olga Kagarlitskaya gives us a taste of the high life.

It’s Two For Thursday on Girl on Film with images of both Anna Botova and Olga Kagarlitskaya,
both former Miss Russia pageant contestants. We had such a good time photographing Anna at The Red Square, we dragged her along to the Kalina Bar for extra innings.

The setting: Black walls with tear drops, high-contrast lighting (which we created), a gorgeous bar and restaurant, and a killer terrace 21 stories into the Moscow skyline. The model is Olga Kagarlitskaya, a super-sleek 25-year-old Russian with a razor-sharp haircut to match her piercing demeanor as she strutted her stuff in a bar hundreds of feet above the Russian capital. 

We opened our very first bottle of Russian Standard vodka on this shoot and, let me tell you, it wasn’t our last. Check back next week as we travel back in time within the walls of Turandot.  It’s only Day 1 of our Russian voyage and, with nine women left, we’ve barely scratched Russia’s soft, fleshy surface. See you Thursday!
