As part of their new entertainment initiative, Intel had Smash Mouth do a "virtual jam session" as part of their keynote held on Monday. So later at Rain, Smash Mouth played a whole set, and this is a song from it. I have to be honest and tell you that I don't care about Smash Mouth and have no idea what the name of the song is, but if you're a fan, leave it in the comments and I'll change it in between gambling and getting massages.
As a side note, I wish I could've gotten some footage of all the late-thirtysomething PR people swaying awkwardly (and drunkenly) in an attempt to dance. It was just way too dark in there, and all my video came out pretty much black. But I can assure you, it was more awkward than getting caught masturbating while watching the dancing scene from the British Office.

I find myself playing this game a lot. All these pretty girls and smokin' booth babes put up a smokescreen of sexiness that sometimes blocks the gadgets. There are some in that photo. Click the link below to find out what it is and if it's any good.

It has nothing to do with gadgets, but I thought you might like another glance at how we, the hardworking keyboard jockeys, live here at CES. Pictured above is the rice, beans, salad, and cake concoction that the press was treated to this afternoon. I didn't think cake and beans went so well together, but in the end it was just more proof that beans go with everything. Anyways, it still goes in my tally of free meals received for the week. I'm hoping to get at least 10.

Out in the parking lot here at the Vegas Convention Center are a bunch of lavish tents, one of which houses Gibson's new Robot Guitar. I've heard about it, but in person it's really impressive to look at. The "Robot" title makes it seem a little more exciting than it really is (it doesn't deliver beverages or become self-aware and dominate mankind), but it can perfectly tune itself, which is great for tone deaf jerks like myself. It's already available in a limited run in a few cities, but they're hard to get a hold of and cost, well, a lot. Hit the link below for a few more pictures, then daydream about how easy this thing would make impressing girls with Dave Matthews Band covers.
