Movie Trailers That Lied to Us
MOVIES
Movie studios constantly churn out trailers before the final feature film is edited. Unfortunately that means some promised scenes get left on the cutting room floor.

6. Grindhouse
In Pulp Fiction, Quentin Tarantino made the salient point that you never screw with another man's car. Well, Q, you don't screw with his potential boner, either. The original Grindhouse movie trailer showed Vanessa Ferlito grinding her hot pants into Kurt Russell's Egg Shen, but that scene got the dreaded "missing reel" come showtime. At least it's on the Death Proof DVD.

5. Terminator 2: Judgment Day
After watching the movie, we all knew how badass Robert Patrick's T-1000 was. But the original T2 trailer had to drive that point home further for the folks in the cheap seats. In a clip that was suppose to follow the sequence in which Arnold and lil' John Connor rescue Sarah from the asylum, Sarah asks, "Can it be destroyed?" All Arnie's got in response is, "Unknown."

4. The Transporter
Jason Statham achieved "British Bruce Willis" status in this flick about a monosyllabic hard case with a nice car. The trailer, though, oversold his superhumanity a bit, evidenced by a clip in which he deflects a missile with a serving tray. Obviously someone pointed out that using fine tableware as armament is in ridiculously poor taste, and it was cut from the film.
