With fall just a few weeks away, we're all about solid season-transition beers. It's still too sticky for Guinness, and all summer it's been pilsners and lagers. Oktoberfest? Too soon. So when we're stuck in this holding pattern, we guzzle down British-style brown ale. They're rich, but still ultralight and quenching. We love Sam Smith and Double Maxim but only our boys at Newcastle put this sauce style in a TOBTW-worthy container. So, welcome to our first glass Tall Boy. The Newcastle pint. Bang. Sweet with woody tones, it's the beer that firmly has one foot in the fall, one in the summer. Time to sip this super seasonal straddler (Awesomely awkward alliteration!)
