Thanks to Bentley, the Fanciest SUV Ever is On the Way

The storied British carmaker has announced they’re making an SUV. Blimey!

It seems those wily Brits are hogging all the news these days. First the Royal Baby, and now the announcement that Bentley is developing an SUV. The automaker, which has been producing some of the world’s fanciest cars since way back in 1919, is among the short-list of brands—along with Ferrari, Mercedes, and fellow limeys Rolls Royce—whose name alone brings with it loads of connotations. Bentleys are exclusive, they’re fast, and most of all, they’re as luxurious as anything else on the road. That’s why we’re particularly excited that they’ll be producing their first sport utility vehicle ever for the 2016 model year. “The SUV will be a thoroughbred Bentley true to the brand hallmarks of luxury, performance, quality, and craftsmanship,” promises Bentley. “It will be the most luxurious and most powerful SUV in the market.” So does this mean that we’ll be soon able to ride in the utmost of style while tearing through a treacherous mountain pass (or, more likely, a Target parking lot)? Yes, guvna, it sure does.
