Designer
Dennis Digital, the interactive division of Dennis Publishing, is looking for an experienced, energetic
Designer to join our fast growing design team.
Dennis Digital is the Web and Mobile Publisher for the top men's brands in the marketplace: Maxim, Stuff,
and Blender magazines.
The Designer's responsibilities include creating strategic, elegant, highly usable and technically feasible
design solutions through collaboration with the Marketing and Editorial teams. You will work closely with the
Creative Director, Art Director, and/or Marketing Director through all phases of production.
The Designer will work on a variety of projects simultaneously. Those projects range from designing online
marketing and branding campaigns such as micro-sites, sweepstakes and party pages, to subscription pages,
banner campaigns, editorial features, and site redesigns.
Applicant should possess excellent communication and organizational skills, and have experience managing
multiple projects simultaneously.
Required Qualification/Skills:
·Minimum 4 years experience in interactive design
·Strong understanding of graphic design, layout and typography
·Strong conceptual development skills, strong layout ability, and basic illustration skills
·Proficiency creating web site design comps
·Extensive experience working in Flash and action scripting a must
·Must have a firm understanding of information architecture and user interface design
·Adhere to design and branding standards as well as marketing goals in the execution of design concepts
·Game development and illustration skills a plus
Software/Language Requirements:
·Strong proficiency in all major interactive design tools (e.g., Photoshop, Illustrator, Flash, Fireworks)
·Actionscript
·Basic understanding of HTML and Javascript

Receptionist
Dennis Publishing, Inc. is seeking an enthusiastic, polished, entry-level receptionist.
This candidate will be responsible for operating a multi-line telephone system; answering
incoming calls and forwarding to appropriate personnel; welcoming on-site visitors and
announcing to appropriate personnel; sending and receiving faxes; as well as providing
administrative support to various departments within Dennis Publishing, Inc.
Candidate must have:
·Strong communication skills and able to interact with all levels of management
·Knowledge of Microsoft word, excel and outlook
·Quark a plus
