The entertainment gods have heard our prayers, and the best TV series of all time hits the web with 15 new episodes, all simultaneously streaming on Netflix, on May 26. We’ve been waiting since 2006 for the return of the highly dysfunctional Bluth family, and the entire gang is back for Season 4. Will George Michael and Maeby finally do it? Will Gob use his illusions to bring back Buster’s arm? Will Tobias finally realize that no good can come of wearing jorts while claiming to be a professional “analrapist”? We’ll have to wait and see.

Is Daft Punk’s Random Access Memories the most exciting release of 2013 so far? Quite possibly. A teaser commercial touting the lead single (“Get Lucky,” featuring Pharrell) that first aired during Saturday Night Live last month offered a taste of what’s to come, and Pharrell commented that the new album is so good, “you don’t even need MDMA” to listen to it. But, as with all things, MDMA probably couldn’t hurt. Random Access Memories is out May 21.

Forget March Madness; if you caught last Saturday’s game four between the Brooklyn Nets and Chicago Bulls, which went into triple overtime, you know that NBA May is where the real action is. And if you’re not really into basketball, don’t worry: Contrary to popular belief, you don’t have to be Canadian to watch hockey, and after a painfully abbreviated hockey season, the road to the Stanley Cup should be plenty entertaining.
Star Trek Into Darkness
The month of May is filled with blockbuster movie releases—Iron Man 3, The Great Gatsby, The Hangover 3—but we’re most excited about the second installment of J.J. Abrams’ Star Trek. It’s been four years since Abrams first tackled one of America’s most beloved franchises, and based on the trailer, he’s spent that time making sure this sequel isn’t just another lazy big-budget studio reboot. We were pleasantly surprised by Chris Pine’s ability to play a convincing Captain Kirk, and though some die-hard Trekkies will insist that the new movie sucks, we tend to believe that if Trekkies aren’t bitching about something, you’re doing it wrong.
