We Can’t Wait for Legends of Tomorrow

With news of the new CW show’s premiere date finally released, the network followed up with an explosive 3-minute trailer that features the mashup of superheroes and villains meeting, fighting, and time traveling in what may be the best comic book series yet. Spinning off from the wildly successful Arrow and The FlashLegends of Tomorrow will follow Rip Hunter, a time traveler, who recruits The Atom, White Canary, Firestorm, Captain Cold and Heat Wave, Hawkgirl, and Hawkman to help him stop an invincible villain set on destroying the world. Sounds like your typical afternoon, right? With so much at stake, this new series sounds like something we want to watch. Check out the ‘first look’ footage below and remember to close your mouth after watching.

Justice League Eyes Its ‘Black Canary’

Superheroes are all the rage, and it looks like two actresses are being eyed for a role in the upcoming Justice League film. Early rumors have placed Alona Tal and Abbey Lee as front runners for the role of ‘Black Canary,’ the leather-clad lady currently portrayed by Katie Cassidy on CW’s Arrow. The two would stand alongside the greats, like Batman, Superman, and Wonder Woman, before potentially going on to headline their own Birds of Prey film, which might throw Harley Quinn and Batgirl into the mix. Rumors aside, this newest addition to the DC Universe would be one we’d be completely okay with. Blondes have more fun, right?

Mouthing Off

Deadpool may be our favorite anti-hero yet. For a character whose costume lacks a mouth, he’s getting extra raunchy in this video promoting the Comic Con Experience in Sao Paulo, Brazil. Watch him swear at unsuspecting viewers and get pumped, right here.

League of Extraordinary Hemsworth

There’s a new Allan Quatermain franchise in the works and it looks like

Chris Hemsworth

is being eyed to play the rugged adventurer. The role’s previously been filled by Patrick Swayze and Sean Connery, meaning that Hemsworth has some big shoes to fill — but we think he’ll handle it just fine.
