The Daily Heat Index: Tina Fey Shows Us the Proper Way to Dubsmash

Matt Damon is buff as Bourne, view space right from your couch, and Jake Gyllenhaal goes deep for his next role.

Here’s your daily dose of what’s heating up the internet:

Tina Fey Wants You to Dubsmash

Following her ‘***Flawless’ with Unbreakable Kimmy Schmidt‘s Tituss Burgess and Jane Krakowski, Tina Fey took to Late Night with Seth Meyers to show the world just how a proper dubsmash should be made. Equipped with a video of SNL co-star Maya Rudolph lip-synching some classy dialogue, Tina wanted to show the world just what high quality looked like, and she did just that. Bravo, Maya. Bravo.

Bourne is Back and Buffer Than Ever

Matt Damon may be the very model of a modern leading man, talented enough to flit seamlessly between disparate roles, from the gritty and worn in Elysium to soft and doughy in The Informant. But with the Bourne franchise gearing up for another Damon-heavy installation (suck it, Jeremy Renner, you hapless goon), we can all welcome Jacked Damon back into the fold.

Space Exploration for the Lazy

Ever want to explore the furthest reaches of space from the comforts of your couch? Then you have very particular tastes. But fear not: a new virtual reality headset on Kickstarter might have the answers to your oddly specific conundrum. SpaceVR aims to give users the same “overview effect” that astronauts experience when they see the Earth unfolding before them in orbit. They’re currently seeking funding, so shut up and give them your money right this minute.

Gyllenhaal Looks Oscar-Worthy in Demolition

In the first trailer for Demolition, we see Jake Gyllenhaal portray an emotionally detached investment banker who loses his wife (played by Naomi Watts) in a freak car crash. After her sudden death, Gyllenhaal is forced to reevaluate and ultimately destroy his old life in order to move onward and upward. Directed by Jean-Marc Vallée (Wild and The Dallas Buyers Club) the film will premiere at the Toronto Film Festival on April 8th. While this release date knocks the flick from awards contention, we have no doubt Gyllenhaal will be widely praised for his performance (and probably his biceps).
