We're in the final home stretch of the summer. 

Now's the time to cram in all our favorite drinks and foods before it's too late! Quick! 

Luckily, BLT has created a cocktail that does both for us, combining the spiciness of summer barbecue and...whiskey!

BBQ Sandwich

From BLT Bar & Grill in NYC

Ingredients: 

1.5 oz. BBQ spice-infused Bulleit Rye

.75 oz. Punt e Mes

.5 oz. Campari

.15 oz. Balsamic vinegar

.5 oz. Smoked honey syrup

4 Drops Memphis BBQ bitters

1 Lemon twist

Directions:

Place 6 oz. of rye whiskey and ½ bar spoon of favorite BBQ spice into a soda charger. Charge and allow to sit for 20 minutes for spice to infuse. Add all ingredients into an ice filled shaker. Stir and strain into a low ball glass. Add lemon twist. Serve either on the rocks or neat.

Sweet, spicy, refreshing, and finger-licking good, this is what summer is made of. Aw, now we're sad. Bye-bye, summer.
