We're ready to watch the King crush it.

We already knew there were more monsters than the ultimate great ape himself to be found in Kong: Skull Island. And hell, even if there weren't, watching a Samuel L. Jackson and John Goodman face-off would've been plenty. But in an effort to clue viewers in to what kind of gigantic horrors the film has in store, Warner Bros. has released new clips that let us know it's going to be one hell of a thrill ride.

These aren't the only clips that have come out lately. Other clips from the film—which also stars Tom Hiddleston, Brie Larson, and John C. Reilly—build tension about human confrontations with Kong and also dig deeper into just what an awe-inspiring creature he truly is.

It's like Apocalypse Now meets Planet of the Apes on steroids.

Kong: Skull Island comes roaring into theaters on March 10, 2017.
