It’s championship week, ride these fantasy football saviors to victory!

If you made it this far; congratulations. You probably have someone like Arian Foster, Calvin Johnson, Adrian Peterson, or Tom Brady. However, you may also have someone who went into a tailspin last week like Josh Freeman, Martellus Bennett, or Danario Alexander. Here are some fill-in players who could help you bring home the jellybeans.

QB: Sam Bradford, Rams


Bradford has mostly been a disappointment this season, but St. Louis’ franchise quarterback had a monster game last week with 377 yards, three touchdowns and a two-point conversion tossed in for good measure. This week he faces a putrid Tampa Bay pass defense that gave up four scores to Drew Brees last week and has nothing left to play for.

QB: Russell Wilson, Seahawks


Ok, so maybe Wilson is going against the league’s best defense, but as Tom Brady showed on Sunday night, they can be scored upon just like the rest of the NFL. Not to say that Wilson could even hold Brady’s jock, but the rookie has been on a nice run lately totaling six touchdowns and only one pick in his last three home games.

RB: Curtis Brinkley, Chargers


Brinkley should take over lead duties in a San Diego backfield that has been particularly underwhelming this year, mostly due to the fact that Ryan Matthews is kind of terrible. Although there’s some cause for concern about Jackie Battle stealing goal line work, Brinkley has gotten his share of red zone touches already this year.

RB: Danny Woodhead, Patriots


It’s never a good idea to trust a Patriots running back, but if Woodhead gets touches, he can make things happen. With both of New England’s other primary ball carriers putting the ball on the ground last week, Woodhead could once again find himself running from scrimmage often. 

WR: Rod Streater, Raiders


After two straight weeks of nearly 100 yards each, Streater took a step back last week with only five catches and 62 yards. However, he is now Carson Palmer’s favorite target in the passing game and with the Oakland front office allegedly thinking about shopping the rest of the receiving corps for draft picks, Streater has a good chance to finish the season strong.

WR: Dexter McCluster, Chiefs


After being targeted 10 times last week and catching seven balls, McCluster will once again have his quarterback (whoever it is) looking his way. McCluster has always been somewhat of an enigma but as one of the few playmakers on the Chiefs, the more he touches the ball, the better Kansas City.

TE: Jeff Cumberland, Jets


Cumberland was the only semi-bright spot for New York in the debacle that was “Monday Night Football” this week. Cumberland caught four passes for 53 yards and a score, and had another touchdown called back. News that Greg McElroy will take over for spaghetti-armed starter Mark Sanchez only improves Cumberland’s chances this week, as he caught a touchdown pass from McElroy back in Week 13.

TE: Anthony Fasano, Dolphins


After scoring in two straight games, Fasano has a decent matchup against a Bills pass defense that is right in the middle of the pack in defending the tight end position. Fasano has been targeted 10 times in the past two weeks and is one of the few red zone options for first-year quarterback Ryan Tannehill.

K: Garrett Hartley, Saints


After a rough start to the season because of the Saints’ scoring woes, Hartley has been scoring much more consistently of late. The Saints travel to Dallas on Sunday where Hartley should have no problem kicking some deep balls in the dome.

D/ST: Buffalo Bills


Despite a lackluster effort last week, this unit has done very well against poor quarterback play this year (just see Lindley, Ryan; and Fitzpatrick, Ryan). With a suddenly turnover-prone Josh Freeman under center for the reeling Buccaneers, look for the Rams to finish out the season on a high note by keeping the score low.
