The Rangers Need To Stop the Bleeding

Very little looked like it was working for New York in game 2 against the Bruins; forsaking their defense, continuing their road woes, and coming up blank on five power plays. But if polishing the turd is your thing, Rick Nash broke his playoff goal drought – it was even an important one (at the time).

The Red Wings Refuse To Start The Bleeding

No one expected Detroit to even the series against the brutal Blackhawks – which they did 4-1, the same score with which Chicago blitzed them in the first game. Then again, no one expected them to beat the Ducks and some didn’t even think they’d be in the post-season at all. There’s something to be said for going through the playoffs “on house money.” Just ask the 2012 LA Kings.
