The final NFL week is here and with it comes chaos. Fortunately,Maximis here to help you navigate these uncharted waters with five predictions that will undoubtedly (or just maybe) come true.

Big Performance – 49ers’ Secondary

The Ravens’ offense has been showing up recently, putting up 350 yards in each of their last five games (suck on that, Cam Cameron). The 49ers and their front four are no strangers to stopping the run, but as long as Joe Flacco is on two feet he has at least three eligible targets. The secondary needs to shut them down without much extra help from the linebackers.

Big Flop – Ravens’ Linebackers

Of course, that only covers one side of the ball. Colin Kaepernick is going to have to continue to move the ball like he has through the air, while using his feet as a backup plan or a decoy. Fortunately, that’s exactly what he does well, and he should be able to blow up the linebackers no matter how many deer antlers they’ve cracked open and downed. Don’t hurt us, Ray.

Big Stinker – The Commish

Roger Goodell earned every vote of the 61% of NFL players who disapprove of the job His Holiness is doing as commissioner. And while it’s obvious that many players are discontent, only Vikings’ punter Chris Kluwe (who we previously named one of Twitter’s best athletes) went as far as to Rickroll the big man. Well done, Chris.

Big Storyline – Brotherly Love

Brother against brother. Who can take on his own flesh and blood and come away victorious once and for all? The answer is…Eli. Wait, I’m talking about the Pro Bowl, what are you talking about?

Big Pick – San Francisco 49ers over Baltimore Ravens
