Here’s how to turn some basic office supplies into the fastest beer fridge known to man.
Supplies
• Compressed air duster (buy one filled with difluoroethane, a refrigerant)
• Water bottle, with top wide enough to fit the air duster
• Precision knife
• Glue gun
• Duct tape
• Warm can of beer
• Another water bottle to hold a beer can
• Alcoholic impatience
Step 1
For a nearly instantaneous (OK, five-second) way to ice down your brew, all you need are a few “borrowed” items from your company’s supply closet. First, wrap duct tape around the cut-off water bottles’ tops. These tape rims will hold the beer and duster cans in place.
Step 2
Remove the ergonomic frame around the nozzle so it shoots air if you press straight down on it. Then poke one hole each in the bottom sides of the water bottles. Be sure the two holes match up so the tiny duster straw can seamlessly pass between the two bottles.
Step 3
Put some glue (or a loop of sticky-side-up duct tape) on the top of the duster’s nozzle and stick it to the floor of the wider water bottle. If “stick it” makes you giggle, please substitute a can of A&W root beer for the Miller Lite in picture.
Step 4
Place the duster straw into the nozzle through the hole, then place the straw’s other end in the hole of the narrow water bottle. You can glue-gun two water bottles together or, if you’re a real man, simply wrap a piece of duct tape around the two bottles holding them in place. Don’t stop now, you’re almost done!
Step 5
Insert the duster can into the nozzle, then slide a beer down into the narrow water bottle. Now press down on the bottom of the air canister for about five seconds to turn the beer ice cold. Remove the can and chug it down. Well done, your lust for cold beer has officially put your job in jeopardy!
