If World War III starts in the sky, it’ll look a lot like this photorealistic 3-D combat flight simulator. As the game takes wing, you’re prepped by a whole squad of instructors and quickly learn everything you need to know to engage in tactical missions—from basic takeoff and landing procedures to locking on to a bogey from miles away. Choose from more than 25 real-world Japanese and U.S. fighter jets, and blast your way from the academy to tackling combat missions over land and sea. Check your HUD (heads-up display) to maintain proper velocity, direction, and altitude during flight. Keep an eye on your radar screen for enemies, and employ evasive maneuvers to save your ass. Pray you don’t run out of fuel before reaching friendly airspace. And welcome to the mile-high club.
