Considering most of the Batman games have been terrible, and most of the Batman movies have been abominable, youd expect a game based on a Batman movie to be worse than Celine Dion covering AC/DC. But Batman Begins isnt just a good game, its two great games that play great together. When youre the caped crusader, its an action game in the mold of Splinter Cell that has you sneaking around, using stealth attacks, and employing scare tactics to freak out bad guys before you beat them senseless. Then, when youre driving the Batmobile, the game morphs into Burnout, with you knocking cars off the road as you careen through traffic. Of course, both aspects have been simplified a bitit's clearly more for fans of the film than of Everquestbut everyone from the Joker to the Riddler to Alicia Silverstone will soon be locked in the basement with this one.
