FarCry2-2.jpgIf you’re a fan of 2005’s The Mouse & The Mask or 2008’s Ghostly Swim (a Blender.com favorite) compilation, you know that the folks at Adult Swim are seriously into attaching their little late night network’s name to new music of the hip and alt variety. Their latest branded compilation is a collaboration with videogame publishers Ubisoft to promote Far Cry 2, a militaristic first-person shooter set in Africa and features a gaggle of South African hip-hop artists. All the sneering, tough talk about getting cash and respect in the sub-Saharan ‘hood, while not remarkable, seems to fit right in with Far Cry 2’s mercenary themes, as expressed below.
