With game companies scrambling to secure rights of top flight celebrities (and John Madden) for voiceovers, cameo appearances, and other marginally related uses of their fame, some of the most memorable contributions in gamedom have come from the anonymous dudes with vocal 'tudes. We've sifted through all the mouth pollution and pulled out our favorites:

I know, Quake3Fan, no Quake 3 announcer, but they put in the Halo announcer? The Halo announcer wishes he had a chance to get raped by the Quake 3 announcer - what a travesty!

C'mon, where is the Blades of Steel Announcer? Even now, every time you play a pick up game of Hockey, someone invariably says "Flip the Pass" or whatever the announcer was saying. You can barely understand him.

How can you have any sort of list about faceless videogame announcers and fail to even mention the Killer Instinct guy?? Coooooommmmmmmmmbbbooooooo! That guy was way more nuts than anyone on this lame list!

What's the point of this list without finding out the names of these voice actors, and a little about them? I wish I got paid to make up lists of youtube videos that I like and not having to do any research..

Team Fortress 2 has got to be the best.... and no mention here. :( "Three Minutes! Security Alert! Mission begins in 10 seconds! Alert, our last control point is being captured! Stalemate! Overtime!
