Mortal Kombat vs. DC Universe, Midway's valiant attempt at reviving the classic fighting franchise, was released to mixed reviews. But, while the critics are locked into a polarized debate, there's no denying the impact the series' legendary voice actor, now 10-year veteran Hernan Sanchez, has had on popular culture. Children ages 12 through 35, grandmothers, grocery store clerks, and even the fat guy who hands you toilet paper in the bathroom in exchange for nickels know what follows when "Finish Him!" reverberates through TV speakers: sweet, unceremonious death. It's good, but if we had our way, we'd give it a little pizzazz, a little... je ne sais quoi.

We put Mr. Sanchez and his thundering larynx to the test with some of our own alternatives, ranging from nerd favorite phrases like "Epic Fail" to what we're expecting to play right after the President-elect's swearing in ceremony on January 20. Enjoy!
