I think Smash Bros Brawl is the best Nintendo game it has great graphics and is really fun to play, almost addictive. I sleep dreaming about my next stragedy move Wii really rocks.

Gears of War 2 is by far the greatest game of 2008. With it's immense storyline of twists and turns, fantastic graphics and awesome gameplay it's sure to be everyone's favorite.

I almost picked GOW2, but had to go with originality on this one. LBP is innovative. It distills playfulness to its core elements and allows its users to tap into their creative side. The burgeoning community around this game attests to its growing appeal. The release of LBP was a bold gamble for Sony, one that I hope pays off.

MGS 4 it?s the best of the year because of his trajectory along the games history. Great story, great action, great characters, great graphics and a lot of others stuffs. The MGS series is one of the responsible by the great actual game generation.

Left 4 Dead is the best game of the year. I played it with my cousin for 6 hours straight and didnt even beat the first level! It was amazing!

Little Big Planet. Completely different, weird, fun and freaking awesome.

Amazing action, i liked the multiplayer (no, didn't have trouble with the matchmaking), and chainsawing is still as amazing as 2 years ago.

All of the games on this poll where definetly great. All were fun to play. But the game that got me the most was Metal Gear Solid 4. The reason being, I am a total Metal Gear Solid fan. When MGS1 came out on PS one I thought it was going to be another Final Fantasy type storyline, but I played it and was blown away. MGS4 is the best game of 2008 and one of the best video games of all time. I meen come on, its Snake's final mission. It puts closure on so much things in the Metal Gear Franchise. Im sorry to offend people here. In my opinion Little Big Planet difines a new generation in games, rockstar can still create one hell of a Grand Theft Auto, COD still kicks ass, Fallout 3 was legendary, in Left4dead it is awsome to kill a bunch of zombies, and the Wii needs to find some one new instead of the mario bros., and the new Resistence2 was definately the best graphical game this year with a definate complex plot twist at the ends. But Metal Gear Solid 4 stood above the rest. Screw what game informer says, Metal Gear Solid 4 was the best game hands down period. And if anyone doesn't believe me, go get a PS3 and find out why I choose MGS4 as the best game of 2008.
