If you were one of tens of people who marveled at Google Earth's instantaneous renderings of far away countries (hey, there is an Azerbaijan!), then hold onto your browser window after pressing the play button above. Ubisoft's HAWX will employ GeoEye, which is essentially a beefed up version of Google's satellite-powered program equipped with up-to-date imagery and accurate landscape renderings. What that means is that you'll be zooming at mach speed up, over, and around the buildings below instead of just crappy flattened terrain you find in Google Earth. Sure, you won't find any of these pissing-match-worthy comparisons above, but the "authenticity coordinator" and the GeoEye marketing guy give an interesting, somewhat nerdy overview of what's to come when the game hits stores on March 5.
