How do you turn a bloodthirsty vampire into a hero? Have her suck a bunch of Nazis dry, of course. Armed with guns, swords, and graveyard martial arts, this half-human secret agent unleashes a blitzkrieg of gory violence upon her WWII-era prey. And if she needs to recharge while exterminating insectoid monsters and other creeping nasties in castles, submarine bases, and Louisiana swamps, she simply drains the life juice from the nearest unlucky Kraut. Feed enough and you can even conjure an extra-lethal “blood rage” that makes your local slaughterhouse look like a quilting bee. Confused by the sometimes clunky camera angles? You can deliver your skull-smashing, thong-flashing high kicks in soothing slow motion. Not even Buffy can boast that kind of bloody panache.
