Ah, the cruel sting of the sequel: You get more of what you loved in the original, but youve got to start all over again. Thankfully, Champions: Return to Arms ditches all of that backtracking by importing your character from the first romp, allowing those of you who killed so many sweet afternoons the first time around to get back a little something on your investment. Don't worry, though, Arms comes complete with a whole new bag of tricks. Over 100 hours of game play through 50 levels of sword-swinging, spell-casting combat, thousands of new weapons and equipment, and two new characters (the fighting furry Vah Shir and the lizardman Iksar) will keep you huffing at trucker speed through the wee hours. This time, along with cooperating, you can also take out some aggression on your costume-wearing online friends in a four-player deathmatch mode. If you're confused, just imagine Gauntlet with better graphicsproving once again that you can't beat the classics, but you can rip them off.
