Here's a little secret: the crown jewel of 2K Sports b-ball sims is not NBA 2K7—sorry, Shaq—but the scrappier, more addictive College Hoops 2K7. Not a college basketball fan? You will be after playing this game. No joke. As soon as you feel the locker room shaking with the roar of your home-court crowd, you'll come down with a terminal case of college basketball fever. (Symptoms: Crying when your team wins/loses; consuming massive amounts of cheap beer; tattoos of your team's mascot mysteriously showing up on your forearm after booze binges, etc.) With more schools than ever, detailed stadiums, and terrific graphics (at least on the 360 version), this games is literally stuffed with school spirit. The game even let's you create your own in-game chants. No, you can't make up X-rated chants—sorry, miscreants—but getting to the final seconds of the game, nailing a long range jumper, while the crowd launches into one of your very own self-authored chants, is enough to make Marv Albert's $4 toupee spin.
