Usually good movies are the ones that get ripped off, but for some reason the makers of Covert Ops: Nuclear Dawn chose to Xerox Steven Seagals wretched Under Siege II.
In this action-adventure game, you take control of a NATO soldier who must singlehandedly retake a hijacked train stuffed with terrorists, nuclear weapons, and, of course, a hostage or two. But unlike Seagal, youll have to do it sans ponytail and cheeseball one-liners.
It sounds challenging, and indeed it isbut only because youll have trouble keeping your eyes open while sneaking around in this claustrophobic train. When you do get a chance to off a terrorist, the gunplay is disappointingly lame. In fact, Covert Ops most interesting feature is that you save your game by using the trains toiletwhich is actually pretty appropriate.
