It's hard to believe DOOM has been around since—brace yourself—1993. After fifteen-plus years of playing first-person shooters, you'd think DOOM would have lost some of its pop. You'd be wrong. Racing down corridors while shotgunning your way through Imp hordes and carving up Cacodemons with your chain saw still tastes as sweet as it ever did. Despite the fact that on our 9000-inch plasma TV DOOM has pixels as large as Gary Coleman's cranium, the game still manages to look far better than we thought it would. With deathmatches, co-op play, Xbox Live leaderboards, and unlockable Achievements, DOOM is very much deserving of a warm, cozy spot on your 360's hard drive. So make room!
