Tired of games in which all you do is dismember opponents and blow shit up? Neither are we, but this environmentally friendly adventure game offers enough twists to make us take the bait. As Ecco, the most heroic dolphin since Flipper, you zip through 3-D seascapes (from cloning labs to the psychedelic ruins of Atlantis) populated with coral and turtles so realistic, youll mistake your TV for a glass-bottomed boat. But your real porpoise, er, purpose is to thwart time-traveling pirates. To collect clues, youll ram bloodthirsty sharks (dolphin unsafe!) and use sonar to stun bad guys. You can even become invisible, which means you shouldnt have to jump through hoops for minnows at Sea World ever again.
