Eve of Extinction

Hitting a woman isn’t proper, but what about beating someone senseless with your girlfriend’s soul? That’s the ever-so-slightly preposterous premise behind this 3-D beat-’em-up, in which our biochemically enhanced hero literally wields the life force of his disembodied sweetheart as a weapon. During confrontations with monstrous foes, she morphs into all manner of staves and swords—but not credit cards, oddly enough. What she can’t disguise is the fact that this is just another button-mashing brawler. Like most outings with the little lady, this one gets tired, but ample eye candy—and violence—ensure that Eve is one traditional kiss good night that occasionally slips you the tongue.
