Geometry Wars: Galaxies

If you've played the excellent Geometry Wars: Retro Evolved on Xbox Live Arcade, then you know what you're in for here. You get 64 levels spread across 10 galaxies, a new upgradable drone system, and versus and co-op play. Translation: You get tons of content for merely $40. As usual, you fly around a confined level and dispatch incoming threats à la Asteroids. The big difference is found in the control department. Using the Wii's dual-sticked Classic Controller—it's the only way to play the game in our opinion—one stick controls your ship's movement, and the other controls the direction you're firing in. Sounds simple, but once an unholy amount of enemies start clogging the screen, you'll be crying for your damn alcoholic mama to hold you as you cry.
