Yesterday was Activision's release party for their Guitar Hero: Aerosmith game on the outlying grounds of the New Hampshire Motor Speedway. Target partnered with the video game company to sponsor rookie racer Dario Franchitti's No. 40 car in today's NASCAR race, the Lenox Industrial Tools 301, in which he placed a disappointing 38th place–dude never activated his Star Power.

Speaking of star power, there was no shortage of it at the party as a throng of NASCAR drivers, fresh off a warm-up 200-lap race earlier in the day, and legendary Aerosmith guitarist Brad Whitford converged on the tented outdoor lounge. You can peruse some of the highlights of the party and the fan event the following morning after the jump.
