Last year's Guitar Hero—despite the fact that the miniature "gitter" made us look like we were auditioning for O-Town 2—tore through our free time faster than Lindsay Lohan goes through skank phases. (Skank or not, sweetheart? Make up your damn mind already.) Even the crap songs in the first game were so addictive, one night we ran out of beer in the office and we didn't notice for 10 minutes. The sequel brings more characters, more venues, a new co-op mode that lets you and a friend (like you have any!) play lead and bass on songs, and best of all, sweet, new tracks. Guns 'N Roses, Motley Crue, Rolling Stones, and—yes!—Rush round out the song list. While Skynyrd's "Freebird" isn't the "ultimate" Guitar Hero moment—it's just too goddamn long—there's still enough grade-A rock here to keep you making devil horns at your television all night long.
