The Skinny: Take your aspirations of guitar greatness on the road!
The Good: Activision bringing their biggest music franchise to a wider audience has to be commended. We give it an A for effort
The Bad: But a D for execution. The buttons are too small, giving you less room for error, and the hand strap locks you in, which means no sliding your hands along the fret board. The game and hardware capture the essence of their predecessors, but don't match them in the fun category. Song selection is weakwith only 26 tracks packed into the game, there's no reason for it to have Daughtry's "What I Want"and there isn't any online component. So once you get through the songs, you're pretty much done.

Buy, Rent, or Disembowel? Skip it. If you really need something to rock out with on the road, we recommend an iPod with AC/DC's greatest hits.
