The Skinny: The best-selling Hot Shots Golf series makes its return to the PSP, offering up 24 weirdo characters and 12 unique courses on which to play. This time, it's personal. No, just kiddingit's still all business.
The Good: The game saves a ton of stats so you can track how you're progressing, and you can challenge up to 15 other players online in ranked and unranked matches. For a golf game built specifically for an underpowered portable, the graphic interface is very polished. You can save replays of your most shit-inducing shots to show your friends later.
The Bad: The voice acting gives you the feeling you're stuck in a Pokémon cartoon. Be prepared for headaches.
A WTF Moment: Win or lose, you're greeted with a live action shot of either a water droplet falling off a leaf or a bumblebee humping a flower.
Buy, Rent, or Disembowel? We're recommending buy. The game is priced at $29.99, 10 dollars less than the typical PSP title.
