Since Spielberg, Lucas, and Ford can’t seem to dust off Indy’s fedora for a fourth Jones movie, we have to settle for LucasArts’ Tomb Raider-esque video game version. With memories of Short Round dancing through his head, Indy travels all over Asia in search of an elusive relic called the Heart of the Dragon. And, in typical Indy fashion, he has to stay one step ahead of Nazi scum the whole time. Despite the occasionally clunky controls, Emperor’s Tomb does impress with its hand-to-hand brawls (Ms. Croft would be lost without her weapons) and the free-range exploration allowed within each level. It’s not a pulse-pounding cinematic thrill ride, but it’ll do. Trust us.
