Medal of Honor: Allied Assault

Black Hawk Down might have you rarin’ to plug warlords in Mogadishu, but you probably didn’t know there’s still plenty of leftover Nazis just waiting to be used as gun fodder. Medal of Honor might not have Tom Hanks, but it’s pretty close to being Saving Private Ryan: The Game (which is no surprise, since DreamWorks—that’d be Steven Spielberg’s company—was involved in developing the game). You want intense? The hail of artillery shells on the Omaha Beach assault level will make you crap your shorts, as they blow away your eardrums and half of your platoon’s limbs. That nerve-wracking battle alone makes most combat movies look like Laser Tag exhibitions.
