It's become fashionable for billionaire ballplayers to discuss their feelings. Look at A-Rod, that poor fucking simp. Seriously, keep a box of Kleenex in the dugout, in case he needs to have a good Lifetime-style cry between innings. Which is no doubt why The Show's developers decided to focus on your pitcher's feelings this year. The all new Pitch Command System gauges how confident your mound maestro is feeling as he exits the bullpen. You'll also have to gauge the ump's mood, too. Is he calling high strikes? The inside corner? Did he take a big, corny dump before the game? With all the feelings being expressed, we're surprised this fucking game doesn't come with a Harlequin romance and a coupon for a free non-fat chai. We dug the new swing analysis; a simple click of the left control stick, and you'll see why you whiffed. And the new personalized career mode—think Madden's Superstar mode done baseball-style—will have you reaching for the pine tar into the wee hours. Ignore all the moody/feeling bullshit—just like you do with your girlfriend—and you'll have a high old time with this game.
