Nano Breaker finds mankind dependent on nanotechnology until it ultimately goes awry and feasts on the blood of the living to build grotesque cyber-mutations. (In fairness, mankind should have totally seen that coming.) Unfortunately, it's too late, and we're left to clean up the mess by slashing through endless identical enemies across endless boring levels. Combo moves and minor upgrades notwithstanding, Konami has done little more than create a mediocre Double Dragon rip-off populated with epilepsy-triggering robots. That said, it is a nice touch that your character earns bonuses based on the amount of blood spilledif only it worked like that in our offices.
