Not everyone can afford to go to a big-name college whose team doesnt get blown out by 50 points every Saturday or wear homemade uniforms, so NCAA Football 2001 lets us live the dream.
Every college is meticulously represented in the game; if you dont like your team, you can tune it up by cutting the crappy players and recruiting new ones, without the fear of those pesky NCAA violations. Once you have your squad set, you can hone it on the practice field. The only thing NCAA 2001 couldnt handle was making the cheerleaders on the sidelines look in any way appealing, but theres always PlayStation2 right around the corner.
