You know how you're watching TV with your wife/girlfriend, and suddenly a commercial will come on featuring a really hot woman, and you'll quietly think to yourself, "Goddamn it, why aren't I married to/dating/pleasuring that woman? What kind of cruel, fucking world do we live in?" You'll feel the same way when you see the Xbox 360 version of NHL 2K7 next to the last-gen PS2 and Xbox versions. It's the 360 version that will set your retinas ablaze with the prettiest version of our second ugliest sport (first is rugby). The new top-down camera makes it easier than ever to see powerplays before they develop. And dropping into the sweat-soaked skates of the goalie during key moments made our hearts pound like they did that time we ate seven Whoppers in 10 minutes (harder than it looks). Indeed, throwing an elbow at Sydney Crosby while yelling the words, "Check, please!" has never looked, or felt, so damn good.
