While some could argue Jackass was inspired by ancient Norse mythology, Prey is actually—for real—a first-person shooter based on Cherokee legends. Sure, you play as garage mechanic Tommy, who gets whirled into a portal and warped to a massive mothership orbiting Earth. Yeah, you get to blast through an arsenal of alien technology. Indeed, you defy gravity by walking on the ceiling. You know, just like them Indians envisioned.
