Kurt Warner swapped his low-paying, body-crushing Arena football gig for a big Lombardi Trophy and a fatter NFL paycheck last year. What in the world could possibly make him consider returning to the Arena Football League, shy of a frontal lobotomy? A huge video game endorsement check, that’s what.

Arena Football Unleashed is football without all of the annoying crap like, say, rules. Pass interference is encouraged, late hits are rewarded, and defense is almost non-existent in this offense-happy war. Arena pigskin fans (both of you know who you are) will find that this game has a bittersweet taste since it has all of the real players and teams, yet is noticeably different from the real-life game. The rest of us, however, will enjoy this adrenaline pumping gridiron romp—even if there’s no chance of turning your new-found skills into NFL cash.
