Mission: As secret agent Joanna Dark, rescue a kidnapped scientist from the dataDyne Corporation, which is set on global domination and is in cahoots with an alien race (like Microsoft). Or screw narrative objectives and leap into the four-player combat simulator. Risk factor: Sneak around all you want; you still have to take on other players and Simulants who come after you with the determination of the Terminator on PCP. Fortunately, you’re packing infrared weapons that blast the baddies through walls. Assessment: With cool options such as friend/foe identification and threat readings, plus the best graphics ever on an N64 game, good luck keeping Perfect Dark your little secret.
