Someone must’ve spiked the sake when they designed this hyperactive shoot-’em-up. Select one of seven freaky airborne characters—including a depressed robot and a blue-haired schoolgirl with a jet packsand engage in a high-speed quest for a wish-granting elixir. Swooping from an Old West–style desert to a hidden ice cavern, you’ll encounter pirate queens intent on foiling your mission—not to mention armed androids that would make C-3PO piss his brass britches. Amid a kaleidoscopic barrage of firepower that will have even nonepileptics foaming at the mouth, seek power-ups to increase your shooting abilities. Sometimes the visual assault becomes so chaotic, you may lose track of your on-screen location. Our advice: Fly blind and keep on shooting.
