Loose women and unlimited expense accounts notwithstanding, the work of an international super-spy has its downsides—constantly being shot at, for instance. Confidential Mission operatives know the feeling well, as this frantic shooter in the James Bond style will leave players visibly shaken…and definitely stirred. From moving trains to enemy submarines, it’s up to you to track down terrorists and dispense justice (i.e., kill everyone) shooting-gallery style. The game handles well whether you play with a standard control pad or a light gun, and there’s even a multiplayer mode for crack shots who make it through all the solo adventures. But then again, Confidential Mission’s designers don’t expect you to win: They expect you to die.
