Great video games always seem really short, but Half- Life: Blue Shift actually is. This gorgeous sequel brings you back to troubled Black Mesa laboratory as a security guard who drops the doughnuts long enough to fend off an alien attack. Mayhem and gratuitous bloodshed ensue, but theres not enough of it. Stevie Wonder could breeze through this first-person shooter in under five hours, and the games quick climax leaves you so unsatisfied that Blue Shift should have been named Blue Balled instead.
