Soul Reaver 2

While this title doesn’t suck, its main character certainly does. Players of the long-awaited Soul Reaver 2 get to don the cloak of Raziel, a vampire outcast who feeds on the spirits of his enemies during his quest to exact revenge on his big daddy Kain, one bloodsucker extraordinaire. Packing a rechargeable magic blade (it keeps killing, and killing, and…), you’ll chop, hack, and impale a path to redemption over the corpses of your formidable foes—beats prayer and contrition any day. But it’ll take as much brains as brawn: The block-moving puzzles of the previous game have been burned at the stake in favor of some logically sound mindbenders. Just remember to stop playing before the sun rises.
