Every die-hard boxing fan has dream matches they would love to see: Ali vs. Holyfield. Ali vs. Lewis. Tyson vs. the parole board. You can play all of them (OK, except the latter) in EA Sports’ vastly improved punchfest, Knockout Kings 2002. All of the big-name bruisers are at your disposal, each packing their own signature punch to ensure that landing a knuckle sandwich has never been so satisfying. And every hard knock is rewarded in the form of a nasty bruise on your opponent’s face (a great byproduct of the awesome PS2 and Xbox graphics). Our only regret is that George Foreman isn’t in the game. Apparently he’s too busy hocking his new grill to bother bringing his fat ass into the game for a good ol’ fashioned digital butt-whuppin’.
